About the Director

               Ollis, ordained as a Deacon in 1999, is licensed and ordained a Protestant Clergy since 2004.  He has held to the edict that we as human beings have been blessed with autonomy, free-will, and self-determination.  Those guiding principles are the motivating factor not only for his thriving, but also how he has esteemed and motivated others.  Additionally, as a service-connected disabled Vet, he served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard as a non-commissioned officer Staff Sergeant from 1973 to 1979 and honorably discharged. 

               After 30 years in the insurance business, 25 of which he was owner of a Commercial Brokerage, he sold it to his protege in 2013; a dynamic Afro-American woman who owns C.J. Insurance Services, Vallejo, CA.  Equally important, after being a functional addict for most of his young adult life, Ollis has been Clean & Sober for over 35 years.  He credits recovery to his Higher Power of literally "taking the taste out of my mouth," and blessing him with a no-nonsense wife. 

               From acquiring his Undergrad degree in 2007, with a double-major in Bible &

Theology/Counseling-Psychology, earned at the prestigious William Jessup University, Rocklin, CA, to acquiring his 1st Masters in 2012 in Addiction Counseling; a 2nd Master's in Professional Clinical Counseling in 2014, both earned at the illustrious Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ, Ollis is dedicated to building family and community wellness utilizing skills in Cognitive Restructuring of Negative Automatic Thoughts (NAT's) and addressing Systematic and Complex Trauma.

              Licensed as an APCC in 2016, and a LPCC in 2019, Ollis established a Sole-Proprietorship as Made Whole Counseling Services providing Psychotherapy services.   Ollis currently sits as the Spiritual Advisor to a local In-patient Social Model entity in Vallejo, CA that provides AOD services to X-offender (male/female) populations.  From October 2015 to June 2022, Ollis served as an In-Patient Mental Health Counselor and an Outpatient Therapist at a Magnet psychiatric hospital in Concord, CA.  Moreover, Ollis is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

                 Ollis incorporated Made Whole Psychotherapy Services, Inc. in 2022 and is the current President and CEO, currently practicing in Benicia and Vallejo CA serving Contra Costa and Solano Counties with planned office locations near Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas NV within the next 3 to 5 years.
